Diversity is the new black. It’s THE hot topic on Broadway. But is it really happening? When was the last time you saw a female lead that wasn't skinny?

As plus sized actors, we've noticed that though there are lots of new instances of colorblind casting, accurate race portrayals, and even cross-gender casting, there are still very few opportunities for plus sized women- even when the role doesn't state size. Additionally, men are traditionally cast in several plus sized female roles (Trunchbull in Matilda, Edna Turnblad in Hairspray…).

It’s time for a change. It’s time for Miss Cast Me.
