Central to LIVIN’ THE DREAM? is the pursuit of happiness. It is not so simple, especially when we consider the expectations we have for ourselves or feel from others. What are we dreaming? What are our nightmares? What do we want our lives to be? The CAT Youth Theatre members have started with these questions to develop original scenes about what it means to "live the dream" in America today. The show was created through playbuilding, which gives young artists the opportunity to hear their own voices "echo off the walls" and make new meanings from the material of their lives.
