Michael Spierman, founder/conductor of The Orchestra of The Bronx, announces the Orchestra's annual presentation of Handel's Messiah, joined by The Bronx Opera Chorus, soloists, and guest readers. Texts are selected from biblical sources by Charles Jennens, and delivered by members of the Bronx Community, including university presidents, political figures, newspaper editors, members of the NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs, Bronx Council on the Arts, an honor student, a waitor at the popular Bx. restaurant, and more.
