The Matthew Corozine Studio Theatre is proud to announce the underground theatre
event of the season: DEATH IN AUTUMN (always must be spellled in all caps).

Autumn 2019, Edison, NJ. When the Sheehan-Tramontano family’s beloved matriarch
dies, its self-involved members who have drastically different religious perspectives
and political leanings from both sides of the aisle are forced to reunite after decades of
Resenting each other to establish exactly what kind of send-off Grandma
Betsy truly deserves. Sometimes it takes death to make us realize what really matters.
This dark comedy is meant to represent the deep division that exists in our country
today. The play begs us to ask the ultimate question we are all thinking right now - is
America dying because we all suck? And can it be saved?

The directorial debut of actor/director Jason Williams ('Jesse' in A Bronx Tale, 'J-Blitz'
in Other World), and first play of actor/playwright Erin Dahl ('Ester' in Dry Land,
'Mayella' in To Kill a Mockingbird).

Staged in an intimate space where audiences can viscerally feel the energy and
emotions of the actors, Matthew Corozine Studio Theatre in midtown Manhattan, you
will be in the center of the action as the members of the Sheehan-Tramontano family
