We are excited to announce auditions for our Youth Musical
The Grunch on Tuesday, March 1st & Thursday, March 3rd. 6:30pm - 8:30pm at St. John's UCC, 139 N. 4th Street, Emmaus, PA.
Inspired by “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”, The Grunch tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy stude t who always feels like an outsider. When everyone gets excited about the annual school musical, he comes up with a perfect plan to ruin it for everyone; he’ll steal the sets, costumes and lights the night before it opens. But will the spirit of theatre prevail?
We encourage young performers ages 8-20 to audition. There are multiple roles to fill. Performers should be able to sing, dance, and act.
Please prepare 16-32 measures of any musical theatre song. You must provide your own sheet music in the appropriate key. All auditions should be memorized.
**masks must be worn at all times during auditions and rehearsals.**
Rehearsals typically take place Wednesday - Sunday. Weeknights 6:30-9:00pm. Saturdays 12-5pm. Sundays 1-5pm. Not every performer will be needed at every rehearsal.
Show dates: April 7-10.(5 performances)
There will be a $100 cast fee per performer. (Includes script & Tshirt)
