TIME STAND STILLS - Bergen County Players

BERGEN COUNTY PLAYERS ANNOUNCE OPEN AUDITIONS FOR TIME STANDS STILL
ON OCTOBER 29 AND NOVEMBER 5

Bergen County Players of Oradell,
winner of NJACT's 2015 Community Theatre of the Year award, will hold open
auditions for Time Stands Still, written by Donald Margulies, to be
directed by Ray Yucis.

When:
Auditions will be held Saturday, October 29th and Saturday, November 5th,
both at 2 pm. Callbacks, by invitation only, will be Sunday, November
6th at 10 am.

Where:
Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ

Production Dates:
February 18 - March 11, 2017

Roles:
Sarah Goodwin - late 30s to mid-40s, photojournalist
James Dodd - late 30s to mid-40s, a freelance journalist
Richard Ehrlich - mid-50s, a photo editor
Mandy Bloom - 25, an event planner

Summary:
Can a couple who make their living reporting on war, one as a
correspondent and the other as a photojournalist, carve out a normal
life? Can they stay together amidst unspoken betrayals and conflicting
ideals? What is their role in covering atrocities but taking no action
to stop them? Nominated for both a Tony and Outer Critic Circles Award
as Best Play of 2010, Time Stands Still is “a rare play that
encompasses universal issues and personal problems with equal
compassionate insight” (Bloomberg News).


Upon being cast, any non-members will need to become members of the
Bergen County Players; details will be provided at auditions. No
equity memnbers will be cast for this production.
