Former-wrestler turned arsonist. Enjoys playing upon people's humanity and hypocrisy. A bit gruff. Persuasive.

Head Waiter turned arsonist. Civil, very charming, clever.
Lead Fireman: 26 - 55 Male.
Watchful, experienced, swaggering. Leads the chorus.
Firemen Chorus (3): 18 - 35 Male (maybe female?)
Protective, strong group. Idealistic. Must be willing to play and explore different styles.
Police/Doctor of Philosophy/Mrs. Knectling: 22-55 Male (maybe female)
A double-cast series of concerned (but comic) citizens.

Storyline:
Mr. Biedermann thinks it's terrible that his town is terrorized by arson – but why worry about a big problem like that? The Arsonists is a hilarious indictment of the fact that however decent, kind, intelligent, and well-intended we are, the supreme value which controls most of our lives is complacency. And the need for just a little quiet.
