Imago is casting 7 males, non-equity actors from the ages of 18 to 55 for Jean Genet’s “Splendid’s”

To audition, arrive at 30 minutes before announced time and signup. No preregistration is required. Bring Headshot and Resume. Prepare a 20 second comedic monologue.

Open Call Auditions are being held for BAUDELAIRE, an original work based on the poet’s prose poems.

Performance dates are Feb 26, Mar 5, Mar 12, (three Sunday evenings) in Imago’s 2nd Floor Ballroom
Rehearsals are in the late afternoons and evening.
Jerry Mouawad, Artistic Co-Director of Imago is choreographing and directing the work on Charles Baudelaire. We will be casting 12 to 18 people to create a large movement theatre work to stage 6 to 8 in the prose poems from “Paris Spleen.” You must be 18 years or older to audition. No previous experience in movement or dance is necessary. However those with movement and dance experience are highly encouraged to audition.
To audition no prepared audition material is necessary just arrive with head shot and resume.

Please arrive in dance or athletic wear. Bring a headshot and resume (if you do not have either, you must bring any photo of yourself) The auditions will be held like a workshop in a large group, allow 90 minutes.
