Penobscot Theatre Company announces open auditions for diverse roles in 2014-2015 Season

Penobscot Theatre Company has issued an open casting call for adults and youths aged 8 and up, Saturday, May 10, from 12:00 to 6:00 pm, for roles in PTC's 2014-2015 Season. Extending from September through May, the season will include six professional productions with a variety of exciting parts. Anyone interested in being considered is encouraged to attend, AEA and non-AEA actors alike.
Auditions will be scheduled in five-minute slots. Interested parties must send an email to
Everyone should prepare a two-minute contemporary monologue (memorized), and bring a headshot and resume stapled together. Vocalists should also be prepared to sing 16 bars of a song of their choosing. An accompanist will be provided, but vocalists must bring sheet music. An additional monologue or song may be requested, so participants should prepare accordingly.
Those who auditioned for PTC during the recent Unified Auditions, March 29, 2014, need not schedule an additional time now.
Callbacks will take place at the beginning of June.
