Penobscot Theatre Company is pleased to announce auditions for the 2012-2013 Season. Actors of all ages will be seen for roles in the following productions: ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE, by Ted Swindley; BECKY'S NEW CAR by Steven Dietz; ANNIE by Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin; THE SUGAR BEAN SISTERS by Nathan Sanders, WIT by Margaret Edson; AROUND THE WORLD IN EIGHTY DAYS adapted by Mark Brown.
Open adult auditions will be conducted on: Wednesday June 6, 2012 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Thursday June 7, 2012 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. No children will be seen at this time.
These auditions will be in 10 minutes increments and actors are asked to prepare two monologues not more than 2 minutes each, 16 bars from any song (If you sing), a head shot and short resume. An accompanist will be provided.
Call Backs for adults will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 10:00 AM - 8:00PM
Open auditions for children - for ANNIE will be conducted on, Monday June 11, 2012 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Tuesday June 12, 2012 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Girls, ages 6-16 are asked to prepare a short poem or monologue and be able to sing 16 bars from a song of their choosing. They should also bring a photo and short paragraph about themselves or resume. An accompanist will be provided.
