Required rehearsal dates (time TBD): Tech April 14 and 20, Dress Rehearsals April 22 – 24

Okay, so there’s this musical‚ Legally Blonde‚ which is like based on the movie, but “OMG!”
who knew that Delta Nu could rock your socks like this! Elle Woods takes on Harvard Law
School to prove that she’s “serious” enough for her preppy boyfriend Warner, but somewhere
along the way to earning her MRS degree, Elle instead learns that being true to yourself is like
totally awesome! Just like the singing, dancing, and costumes in this show!

Sunday January 20, 1:30pm (Registration), 2pm Auditions Begin.
Callbacks: Monday January 21, 7pm.

link for VOCAL CUTS or MONOLOGUE OPTIONS.

Please come prepared with a 60 to 90 second monologue for the reading audition. You
may select one of the cuts available on the Legally Blonde home page or any 60 to 90
second cut from any show you choose.

All those auditioning will be required to sing, read and dance. Please dress
comfortably and come prepared for a fun afternoon.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

The musical is a huge show with over 40 named parts and lots of opportunites for both actors and
actressess. Chorus members will play multiple parts. Some key characters are listed below. For

The quintessential Valley Girl who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law
School and realizes that she has more to offer than just a pretty face and a bubbly
personality. Female, 18-25 yrs old, Range: Soprano, Gb2 - G5

Warner Huntington III

A good Looking but pompous guy who breaks Elle’s heart and heads to Harvard
Law. 20-25, Tenor, Eb3-Ab4

A pompous, sleezy and manipulative law professor at Harvard who is highly
successful, but completely immoral. Male, 45-55 yrs old Range: A2 - F#4

A smart and sensitive law student who takes Elle under his wing. He is charming,
quirky, loveable, and friendly. Male, 20-25 yrs old Range: B2 - A4

A smart, savvy, and uptight law student and Warner's fiancee who initially
dismisses Elle, but grows to be her friend. Female, 20-25 yrs old Range: A3 - F5

A brash caring optimistic hair stylist who is friends with Elle and longs to find a
man, Soprano Belt, A3-A5

A great-looking, in-shape employee of the United States Postal Service

An Exercise Video Star who is also a former sorority girl. Energetic and
charismatic, yet currently on trial for murder. 25-25,
Alto or Soprano, A3-G5
