OPEN STAGE HOLDS AUDITIONS FOR FENCES AND THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK
Open Stage of Harrisburg will hold auditions October 7 and 8, 6 to 9 p. m. by appointment for productions of Season 28: August Wilson's FENCES and the 15th Annual Production of THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK. Seeking 20+ actors of all ages and ethnicities, including 5 African American males and 6 African American females. See below for a complete casting breakdown. 717-214-3251. Actors should prepare a contemporary two-minute memorized contemporary monologue and be prepared to read from the scripts. Audition sides may be provided at the time of the audition. Open Stage is located at 223 Walnut Street, located on the street level of the Walnut Street Parking Garage in downtown Harrisburg. Compensation paid.

TROY MAXSON – 53 years old, a large man with thick heavy hands; it is his largeness that he strives to fill out and make an accommodation with.
JIM BONO – 45-55 years old, Troy’s friend of 30 years.
ROSE – seven years younger than Troy, Troy’s wife
LYONS- 34 years old, Troy’s oldest son by a previous marriage
GABRIEL – 46 years old, Troy’s brother
CORY - 17-18 years old, Troy and Rose’s son
RAYNELL – 7 years old, Troy’s daughter
