Casting roles for an independent production of a Power-Pop Opera, "City of Angles." This will be a full rock musical production. Performance dates are September 29-30 in North Hollywood. 1-2 rehearsals a week until the weeks before the performance dates. Non-equity. (no pay) will be recorded and available for reels. Possible future performances. Please submit photo and vocal recordings.
Casting three roles:
Ty (Male)
Mid-late 20s. Clean cut, handsome, charismatic, talented. High tenor, should be comfortable up to A over middle C, full voice in rock/pop style. Should be familiar with drum set/percussion. (No actual playing drums required, will be mimicking drumming.)
Jaime (Male)
Mid-late 20s. Very clean cut, slightly nerdy. Overly upbeat and optimistic, but smart. Tenor vocal range, should be comfortable singing middle/lower harmony vocal parts. Should be familiar with guitar/bass playing. (Will be mimicking playing bass.)
Linda (Female)
Mid-late 30s. Professional look with remnants of being a rocker in her younger days. Smart, successful. Soprano vocal range, in rock/pop style.
