Auditions for Sondheim’s ‘Company'

set for Sept. 9 and 10 in Libertyville

Liberty Town Productions, Libertyville's not-for-profit entertainment company, is pleased to invite well-spirited musical-theatre actors/singers to audition for all roles in its newly-imagined staging of the Stephen Sondheim’s, musical-comedy Company.

Director Terry Bangs and Musical Director Jan Hutchins are looking for six men and eight women, able to play roles ranging from mid-20s to late-50s. The 14 will need to form a strong ensemble voice.

Half-hour auditions will be held the evenings of Monday, Sept. 9, and Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Libertyville’s St. Lawrence Episcopal Church, 125 W. Church Street (enter through rear doors and follow signs). Callbacks, if needed, will be Thursday, Sept. 12.

Evening and some weekend rehearsals will begin Monday, September 24, and will be arranged as much as possible around schedules of the cast and directors. The show will be performed Nov. 14-16 at Libertyville High School.
