CONTRACT: Broadway Onstage is a non-Equity theatre. There is no contract. Payment is $30 per performance. There is no payment for the rehearsal period. There are generally at least 10 performances of each production. Actors are asked to fill out a W-4 form and are considered part-time employees.
PREPARATION: Auditionees are asked to bring a prepared monologue no longer than 2 minutes in length. The monologue need not be memorized. Cold readings will also be held from the script.
REHEARSAL DATES:
Rehearsals are at 7:30pm in the evening at the theatre. Tentative rehearsal schedule is as follows: Tuesday and Thursday, October 2 and 4 and Tuesday and Thursday, October 9 and 11.
Mondays and Wednesdays beginning October 22 through November 21. Tech week is November 26, 27, 28. Show dates Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm – 11/30/12 through 12/22/12 with 2 2pm matinees on Sunday, December 9 and Sunday, December 16.
