CASTING: (Non Equity) BKLYN The Musical

The Illuminated Stage Theatre Company (Chester, VA) is now accepting submissions for BKLYN The Musical by Mark Schoenfeld & Barri McPherson. Director Shanea N. Taylor and Music Director Jason Marks are seeking a richly diverse cast of singers/actors for the following roles:

Streetsinger (male) Vocal range E3-A4

Faith (female) Vocal Range E3-A4

Paradice (female) Vocal Range D4-E5

Brooklyn (female) Vocal Range A3-way up there Rock High

Taylor (male) Vocal Range E3-G4

Accepting Video Submissions (Non-Equity) through September 1st. Callbacks to be announced for September.

Rehearsals begin mid January 2022. Performances March 11- March 27. All performers paid.

b) resume

c) Video recording of a (1) minute monologue that emphasizes storytelling and sing 16 - 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre pop/rock song that best shows off your vocal range.

Chester, VA is located approximately 20 miles from Richmond, VA. Performances will be held at the new Perkinson Center for the Arts.
