Tiffany Mills Dance Company at Stockton Performing Arts Center

Known for intricate partnering and boldly athletic movement, Tiffany Mills Company shares their award-winning dances, performed with a fearless sense of freedom and exhilaration (Washington Post), with the Stockton community. Artistic Director and choreographer Tiffany Mills develop work through a collective method with performers and visual artists, exploring themes such as communication, connection, relationship, and transformation. Mills draws on the push and pull of contact improvisation (New York Times) and somatic techniques to create layered, kinetically charged choreography that celebrates her performers differences. This concert concludes a weeklong residency of master classes, lecture-demonstrations, and rehearsals with the Stockton Dance Company.
