Calendar Information:Light Opera of New Jersey opens its 25th season with "Basking in Light," a pre-professional showcase directed by William Corson and Stanley Dunn on Friday September 20 and Saturday September 21, 2019, at 8 pm at St. Mark's Episcopal Church 140 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. Additional information:Light Opera of New Jersey will start its 25th season with the sound of amazing young voices who are on track for careers in singing and acting in the performing arts. What better way to start but working with experienced directors in a live performance? William Corson has directed a majority of LONJ shows back to the 1990's with significant experience in both operetta and musical theater. Stanley Dunn, a long time professional actor and singer, has a vast following of young voice students and is a member of all three artistic unions.Our performers include: Rachael Chau of Midland Park, NJ; Matthew Delavan of Madison, NJ; Fia Fusco of Glen Rock, NJ; Alexandra Gualario of Basking Ridge, NJ; Jack Hicks of Bernardsville, NJ; Jadon Lopez of North Bergen, NJ; Whitney McDonnell of Mendham, NJ; Emily Grace Pellecchia of Allendale, NJ; Will Roper of Berkeley Heights, NJ; and F. Hunter Trstensky of Stockton, NJ. Music of this showcase will include songs and scenes from many LONJ shows ranging from Thoroughly Modern Millie to The Magic Flute, from Showboat to the Pirates of Penzance and many others.Tickets for this showcase are $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, and can be obtained online at https://lightoperaofnewjersey.seatyourself.biz.Light Opera of New Jersey is a premier regional musical theater and light opera company.
