Macbeth at Hatbox Theatre

Reserve your seat in the midst of the battlefield where ambition, temptation, and the supernatural lay siege to Scotland as Three Witches Productions presents Macbeth February 2-18 at Hatbox Theatre. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2:00pm. Tickets are $17 (adults), $14 (members, seniors and students), $12 (senior members). Ambition, corruption, gender politics—are these the stuff of a classic play or today’s news feed? Scotland is beset by rebellion and betrayal. Valiant Macbeth hears a prophecy that ignites his ambition, and to which his wife provides the accelerant. Macbeth (played by Ian Allan), and his Lady (played by Laurie Torosian) quickly find that “Blood will have blood!” as their world combusts amid violence and insanity.
One of William Shakespeare’s most popular and enduring plays, this dark tragedy is filled with complex characters, dark deeds, action, the supernatural, and more. Macbeth is the first full production of a Shakespeare play at Hatbox and is the first of two of the Bard’s works to be staged there this season.
