A 1949 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, explores the disillusionment of the American Dream through the lens of Willy Loman, a failing traveling salesman. The play unfolds in a non-linear fashion, weaving together Willy's present struggles with his fading memories of a seemingly brighter past.
Willy, burdened by age and a dwindling clientele, grapples with the harsh reality that his life hasn't measured up to the ideals of success and popularity he instilled in his sons, Biff and Happy. Willy clings to the belief that personal charm and being "well-liked" are the keys to success, a philosophy increasingly at odds with the changing world around him. His desperate attempts to maintain this facade and gain approval from his boss and sons lead to a tragic downfall, exposing the hollowness of the American Dream and the devastating consequences of clinging to misplaced values.
