In Marie Kohler's upcoming production of The Children, two retired nuclear scientists living in isolation face a stark reality as an old friend arrives with a daunting request. Set against a backdrop of environmental collapse, the play explores themes of personal responsibility and the legacy left for future generations. This thought-provoking drama, written by Lucy Kirkwood, invites audiences to reflect on the choices we make and their impact on the world. Kohler, an acclaimed playwright and director, brings her creative vision to Next Act Theatre for this production running from February 12 to March 9, 2025.
