The Theatre Department at Hillsborough Community College, in collaboration with LAB Theater Project, is proud to present the worldwide premiere of Zombie Beach: The Musical, a new production based on John Cecil’s book with original music and lyrics by the playwright and the musician, Laura Rebel-Angel. In the 1960s, in an unheard beach town of Southern California, a group of teenagers spent a Summer they would remember for the rest of their lives. This mashup musical brings together the beach movies, zombies, and punk rock of the 60’s to narrate a story about the love of the living, the hunger of the dead, the laughs, the tears, and the lessons learned in a forgotten time on Zombie Beach. Performances on Thursday to Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday matinee at 2:00 p.m.
