Lauren Mitchell at Arts Garage

The Lauren Mitchell Band, featuring front-woman Lauren Mitchell’s galvanizing vocals backed by the talents of veteran rock and blues artists, has roared on to the South Florida arts scene with undeniable ferocity. The group was born in 2005 when Lauren Mitchell teamed up with keyboard sensation Mike Hensley to create a sound that celebrated everything they loved about blues, soul, and rock. Since then, the band has incorporated the best talent it can find, to bring audiences a sound that is fresh and exciting.





“Part of my goal as a live performer is to leave nothing behind when I take the stage. I want everyone in the audience to feel the way I do about the music we play. If it's a rockin' blues tune, I want to see people dancing in the aisles. If it's a slow, soulful ballad, I have been known to drive grown men to tears.
