Dancing the Malaysian at The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre

KIV returns for its fourth year with the theme “Dancing the Malaysian” in conjunction with Malaysia’s 56th Independence Day. KIV is a dance series that began in 2010 as a platform for contemporary choreographers and dancers to explore their creativity and experiment with new ideas and perspectives.

Unlike the general showcases of previous years, KIV:4 celebrates Malaysians culture, habits and norms, by translating these recognizable facets of being Malaysian into dance form, a spectacle sure to excitingly interesting yet familiar to audiences of any background. Guest performers of various dance groups will also be featured each day.
