Broken Bridges The Musical at The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre

The Actors Studio Seni Teater Rakyat proudly presents Broken Bridges The Musical.

Set in good ol’ Ipoh, Broken Bridges spans three decades from the 1950s to the 1970s. The protaganist Ming (Jon Chew) dreams of a bigger and better life, one beyond Ipoh, while his best friend Leong (Ho Soon Yoon) is perfectly content with a small town life. Ming wants to chart his own destiny but his father, a quintessential Chinese towkay, Wong (Colin Kirton) has his own plans for his son.

The emotional tug of war begs the questions: “So what’s wrong with the old ways?”, and on the other hand, “So what’s wrong with the new ways?”
