A TRULY TALENTED, GIFTED AND FUNNY ARTIST FOR NEARLY 50 YEARS!: Having garnered theatrical success and critical praise during the 1980s and 1990s in a series of improv comedy reviews and Broadway musical parody productions presented off-Broadway in New York ( particularly with his show "Chicago City Limits" ), one of the most talented and creative colleagues of theatre veteran Darryl Maximilian Robinson's earliest performance days in the 1970s was the wonderful RICK CROM. A comedy writer, composer, lyricist, director, performer and currently teacher of up-and-coming stand-up talents, Crom is considered a comedy master. And, long ago, 48 years ago, Rick Crom wrote, and co-directed ( along with fellow Albert G. Lane Technical High School senior, the late and talented Steven Lundquist ), the musical comedy parody review "The Maltese Wabeeno", a send-up of Dashiell Hammett"s "The Maltese Falcon", yes, but, more specifically, a satirical comedy / mystery of ALL THINGS LANE TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL! Lane Tech High School Alum Rick Crom wrote a truly funny show back then. And he's been going strong on stage ever since! A truly wonderful and gifted actor, writer and comedian.
