Written by the acclaimed playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by the visionary Sarafina Ludlow, this electrifying production comes alive on stage, weaving together raw emotion, biting humor, and explosive confrontations.

Starring Johnny Manibusan as Jackie, a newly sober ex-con striving for a fresh start, and Dondre Tuck as Ralph, his volatile best friend whose own demons threaten to tear their friendship apart. Jessica Michael Davis captivates as Veronica, Jackie's fiery and fiercely independent girlfriend, while Navene Shata mesmerizes as Victoria, the seductive temptress with a secret agenda. This show marks Manibusan’s 1st Executive Producer credit & 3rd Fringe Fest (2011’s Polaroid Stories in the UK & 2023’s Love Is a Battlefield in LA). Other credits include Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, In the Blood, The Wiz, This Is Our Youth and the upcoming feature film Escaping Ohio


Jessica Michael Davis

Veronica
Jessica, an award-winning multi-talent from Akron, Ohio, now in LA, gained fame after her NY acting conservatory and Sundance Institute stint. She excels in writing, directing, producing, and acting, notably with her feature debut "Escaping Ohio" starring Collin Kelly-Sordelet, Emily Bergl, and Adam Pascal.


Dondre

Tuck
Dondre Tuck makes his debut as a producer and co-star in Live Theatre, marking an exciting new chapter in his career. Originally from South Florida and now residing in Los Angeles, Tuck is dedicated to honing his craft and expanding his artistic horizons. His most notable work includes his role in the award-winning film Please Be Home.


Bobby Leo

Cousin Julio
Bobby is a Meisner-trained Mexican-American actor. He excels in bringing vulnerability & strength to his work. A former athlete, and committed to his craft, Bobby believes in preparation, discipline, & teamwork. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, traveling, running, volunteering and spending time with family.


Navene Shata

Veronica
Navene Shata was born in Watertown, NY to Egyptian immigrant parents. Her mother worked as a social worker and her father was an entrepreneur. She spent her childhood going back and forth from Egypt and America making her fluent in Arabic. She began her acting career in High School competing in state-wide competitions consistently winning in the category of Dramatic Performance. Upon graduating high school she went on to study Pharmacology but returned to acting upon graduating as she felt the most fulfilled on the stage. In her first theater production she played the role of Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California were she continues to act and produce her own stories. In her spare time she enjoys dancing and hosting dinner parties for her friends and family.


Sarafina Ludlow

Director
Sarafina Ludlow is an LA-based director and actor, with an overwhelming desire to win the approval of strangers. She’s loved working with the talented cast of “Motherfucker with the Hat” and hopes you all enjoy the emotional rollercoaster that is this story.
