The Bachelors Club, written by Tom Jacobson, explores the unexpected history of LGBTQ+ individuals in Oklahoma through the lens of a queer couple in Los Angeles. This poignant piece weaves together narratives from the past, highlighting a two-spirit Choctaw from 1905 and a gay mayor from 1964. The staged reading is part of Moving Arts' MADLab 2024, which showcases new works by local playwrights, reinforcing the company's commitment to the development of original theatre in Los Angeles.
