And more (love, couples, women)Saturday, January 9 at 8:00pm New Inspiration (experimental)As the pandemic continues to wreak havoc across the world, artists and the venues that support them continue to adapt, move forward and find ways to reach audiences in the comfort of their homes. It is in that spirit that Thtre Raymond Kabbaz (TRK), the performance space at Le Lyce Franais de Los Angeles, and Dance Camera West (DCW) have put together an exclusive set of international dance films and announce the online presentation of INTERNATIONAL DANCE: LOS ANGELES on January 7 9, 2021 at 8:00pm.Theatre Raymond Kabbaz and Dance Camera West have rolled out an exclusive set of international dance films in January that allow you to travel abroad without, well, traveling anywhere. This international festival connects cultures, stage dancers old and young, tells stories and creates new inspiration! Films are made by design, by concept, or by simply filming beautiful choreography. Each film brings a different discipline to the forefront, be it dance, choreography or cinematography, and some films present all three at once. Enjoy new work from filmmakers and choreographers from France, Australia, Canada, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, and more, all wrapped in an artistically minded 3-day festival. International Dance: Los Angeles is scheduled to run online from January 7-9, 2021 with a total of 19 international short dance films, along with exclusive interviews on the stage of Theatre Raymond Kabbaz with filmmakers, producers, dancers, choreographers and festival directors, if Covid permits.Tickets are $10 for each night of the festival or $25 for all three nights (19 movies total), and can be purchased here: https://trkdcwlaidf.eventive.org/welcomehttps://www.facebook.com/events/470059633976234/
