Written in 1918, The party game was designed by Luigi Pirandello for the great Ruggero Ruggeri. However, despite an extraordinary performance, the show did not like and was soon forgotten. They had to spend almost fifty years since this play, still considered one of the most mature expressions of the production of Pirandello, had recovered and returned to success thanks to the Society of Young, in a historical exhibit that debuted at the Teatro Eliseo in Rome in 1965.
