Adversary is a show about Satan, a solo performance by Emmy Award-winner Bill Oberst Jr. The show explores the ancient notion of an unseen malevolent force wishing ill to humankind, and Satan as the personification of that force. Adversary features adapted fiction by Fyodor Dostoevsky, Oberst and Robert Louis Stevenson, plus excerpts from John Milton's Paradise Lost, Mark Twain, and The New Testament. Oh, there's also a Medieval exorcism ritual. One act. One actor. One hour. After each show, there will be a talkback session with Emmy Award-winning actor, Bill Oberst, Jr. and the Director of the Ray Bradbury Center, Dr. Jason Aukerman.
