Rose and Walsh follows two great literary figures and the depth and consequence of their enduring love. At a beach house on the tip of Long Island, author Rose Steiner, a now-penniless former Pulitzer-prize winner, is determined to write another masterpiece, but suffers from insurmountable writer’s block. At the suggestion of Walsh McLauren, her deceased lover who visits her nightly and is determined to secure her future before going away forever, Rose decides to complete Walsh’s unfinished novel after securing the help of a young writer living nearby. Variety calls Rose and Walsh Simon’s “most rewarding play in years” as “he finally confronts the afterlife and its effect on loved ones left behind.”
