Waimea Community Chorus - Singing in the Rainbow at Kahilu Theatre

Colors are the theme for Waimea Community Chorus' 21st Annual Spring Concert. One only needs to "Look to the Rainbow," to see the beauty of color in music because "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" you hear "Colors in the Wind" and you think "What a Wonderful World." And as you listen to the "Yellow Bird," you are inspired to bring "Red Roses for a Blue Lady." And that evening, under an "Orange-Colored Sky," before the "Blackbird" gets ready to sing in the dead of night, someone will "Dream of Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair"… and on it goes. The sixty-voice chorus, directed by Barbara Kopra, will present a colorful collage of songs to ring in the Spring!
