Die Walküre at Nationaltheater Mannheim

Wotan fathered the twins Siegmund and Sieglinde with a human woman. Because a free hero should do what he cannot himself as guardian of the laws: recover the ring lost in the Rheingold and its power. On the run, Siegmund is Adil protection in the home. The children separated recognize themselves as brothers and sisters and be lovers.
