OF MICE and MEN is John Steinbeck's classic story about the lives of itinerant workers during the Great Depression. The tale revolves around George, a ranch hand, and his intellectually challenged companion, Lenny, who are dreaming of buying their own place and living off "the fat of the land." It explores the difficult and sometimes painful challenges of that society during that period in history.
