Trapped in a dungeon, an eccentric old man tells of the adventures of Don Quixote: his campaign to restore the age of chivalry, to battle the dark Enchanter, and win the love of the beautiful Aldonza. The score is a musical delight, and contains one of the most inspiring songs in musical theatre as Don Quixote relates his personal credo in "The Impossible Dream."
