The CJRO along with vocalist Marion Powers will present an evening of music playing fresh arrangements from this Iconic band along with music from Brazil, Cuba and more. The Latin Jazz Ensemble is Art Bouton (sax, flute, and bandleader); Jonathan Powell (trumpet); Eric Erhardt (sax and clarinet); Pete Ellison (piano); Paul McDaniel (bass); Alejandro Castano (drums); Dean Oldencott (drums Sept. 15 only); Christian Teele (percussion) and Marion Powers on vocals.Founded in 2012 by bandleader, Art Bouton, with a mission to perform the best music with the best musicians, the CJRO does just that and more. Exciting world-renowned guest artists and many of the finest regional musicians perform anything from big band classics to contemporary large and small ensemble jazz, and Latin jazz to soul entertaining enthusiastic concert goers across Colorado.
