Segerstrom Center for the Arts opens its Arts Plaza for the multi Grammy® Award-winning band Ozomatli, which will bring its music – a recognizable urban Latin-and-beyond-inspired collision of hip hop and global influences – for a free concert on October 2 at 5 p.m. The performance is being presented as part of Pacific Standard Time, an unprecedented collaboration of cultural organizations throughout Southern California highlighting the significance of art in Los Angeles in the post World War II decades. Ozomatli’s concert will be a tribute to the rich and diverse heritage of the Southern California music scene. The concert coincides with two exciting arts celebrations as Segerstrom Center celebrates its 25th Anniversary weekend just as Pacific Standard Time itself begins in October.
