Love, Loss, and What I Wore, our company’s second production, explores how memory and experience can be captured by clothing. Gingy shares drawings of her most important pieces of clothing, and describes the memories they elicit: love, loss, and moving on. Weaving through Gingy's tale is a series of monologues and vignettes from a chorus of women sharing their own stories. Prom Dresses and Boots face off with self identity and trauma, an electric blue bathrobe grieves, and a pair of naughty brown trousers promises that true love can survive prison.
eMBer Women's Theatre's production of Love, Loss, and What I Wore is directed by Michelle Batt, stage managed by Michael Trakas, and features Vicki Kessler as Gingy. The ensemble cast includes: Melissa Bair, Jennifer Barlup, Jennifer Feather-Youngblood, Susan Gellman, Cat McAlpine, Anita McFarren, McLane Nagy, Ayla Stirnaman, Traci Weaver, and Susan Wismar.
