Themes of nostalgia, childhood, and the passage of time abound in this whimsical concert, which concludes with Ravel’s enchanting ballet score, transporting us to the forest where Tom Thumb's trail of crumbs falls victim to various songbirds, amidst a sweetly innocent love scene between Beauty and the Beast, and concludes with an ecstatic celebration of nature in "The Enchanted Garden."
