"Welcome To The Renaissance!" Don't miss out on Encore's hilarious, self-referential summer production of Something Rotten! Set in the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of the Renaissance's most famous rock star, Shakespeare. When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. Performances: Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, and can be purchased at ovationacademy.org/shows-ticketsThis production is performed by high school students grades 9-12.
