Flyin' West at American Blues Theater

Atlanta playwright Cleage examines the lives, memories and
hopes of four female former slaves expecting a better life in
the West away from the uncertainties of the post Civil War
South. But their new surroundings are not free of danger
and unexpected turns. The New York Times called it
“gripping…a paean to women."
