From 1915 to 1946 Georgia O’Keeffe and Alfred Stieglitz wrote over 5,000 letters to one another. Their correspondence captures the passion, conflict and deep love of art that permeated their lives together as acquaintances, lovers, and eventually man and wife. In celebration of the Hyde Collection’s exhibit Modern Nature: Georgia O’Keeffe and Lake George, ATF and The Hyde are teaming up to present an evening of selected letters. Hear the intimate words of these seminal American artists brought to life by actress Carolyn McCormick (Law & Order) and actor Byron Jennings.
