Art of the Art Song at Composers Concordance

Composers Concordance presents a concert featuring soprano Ljiljana Winkler and trumpeter Peter Oswald, accompanied by the CompCord String Quartet. The performance includes a diverse mix of contemporary works and classic favorites, highlighting compositions such as Graciela Carriquí's Corazón Coraza and Giacomo Puccini's O Mio Babbino Caro, reimagined by Gene Pritsker with jazz influences. The CompCord String Quartet comprises Funda Cizmecioglu, Mark Zaki, Eddy Malave, and Mary Wooten, bringing new interpretations to the art song genre.
