Camp Type: Day Session Length: 1 Week Camp Focus: Musical Theatre Acting Arts Programming Avail	Extra Activities: Musical Theatre

Be a Star and walk the Red Carpet! Be the lead in a movie! Dance your way down Hollywood Blvd! It’s all about you being the start his week. Camp includes daily classes in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Singing and Acting. Additional classes in: Either make-up, choreography, scenery, props and/or costume making. A fieldtrip and daily snack are provided. T-shirt, photos and a notebook are also included in the fees. Bring your dance shoes and a lunch each day! End of week performance on Friday evening for family and friends. Sleepover at the studio Wednesday night!!

Erica Fairfield, Owner/ Director of the dance affair studio, is a San Jose native who always loved dance. She wanted to teach and find a way of impacting the lives of young people. the dance affair’s staff includes Erica’s daughter and Assistant Manager, Indie, who Erica has had the joy of having by her side every step of the way.

That dream became a reality more than 30 years ago when she opened the dance affair. Through teaching, Erica has had the privilege of making a difference to students from all around the Bay Area. Many people, from the young to the old, have enjoyed their opportunity to learn directly from Erica and her wonderful teaching staff. Each year the dance affair students have the opportunity to show off their hard work in a wonderful year-end performance at the San Jose Center for Performing Arts.

In 2006, another dream became a reality when the dance affair moved to its beautiful 3,700 square foot location near Valley Fair in West San Jose.

Erica thanks and credits the success of the dance facility to her staff and several of the dance affair families and friends who pitched in to put the newly renovated studio together. We are proud to call this Winchester Blvd location home. The facility currently houses two classrooms (with the capability of expanding to three) and a large lobby area complete with parent TV viewing into the classrooms.
