Nestled on 211 acres of unspoiled forests, fields, and beaches, Sandy Hill Camp and Retreat Center overlooks the headwaters of the Chesapeake Bay near the quaint town of North East, Maryland. Conveniently located halfway between Baltimore and Philadelphia, it is well-known for its outstanding summer camp, its beautiful facility for large group retreats, and the hospitality of its staff. Family-owned and operated since 1995, its serene natural setting is ideal for outdoor adventure and relaxation.

Since 1995, Sandy Hill has offered one- and two-week action-packed, traditional, residential camp experiences for boys and girls who have completed 2nd through 10th grades on our 211 scenic acres overlooking the Upper Chesapeake Bay in North East, Maryland.

We are family-owned and operated, licensed, and ACA-accredited.

Our “Choose Your Own Adventure” style program is designed to help each camper learn and grow through fun, educational, and character-building experiences. Campers are supervised by a caring and qualified staff who lead by example to create a safe and nurturing environment.
