Creating magical summers for amazing campers is what Walden is all about. At Walden, we make sure every camper feels included in our warm, nurturing community. Walden is a family. And being part of our family means having a summer home where you can live, laugh, learn, and have more fun than you ever imagined possible!

Sculpt a masterpiece…Take a bow…Launch a rocket…Build with wood…everyone’s a superstar at Walden! Walden’s extensive visual and performing arts program gives campers a chance to discover new talents and let their creativity soar. Whether singing and dancing in one of our musical theater performances, putting on a skit for a talent show, creating an artistic masterpiece, or learning the latest dance moves, Walden lets all campers shine! Camp Walden’s talented arts instructors teach skills and bring out the imagination in each camper. Our awesome arts facilities provide an ideal setting for creative expression. Walden boasts a 4200 square foot Art and Hobby Center, dance studio, an air-conditioned drama and movie theater, and a newly renovated Performing Arts building complete with stage, lighting, and sound system. Campers also love creating (and eating!) delicious treats in our cooking program. They can’t wait to participate in special culinary adventures such as sushi making and cake decorating. Walden turns up the fun each day with our amazing arts offerings!
