A quirky comedy that could only happen in Calgary. 1988. It’s the age of Walkman’s and permed hair, and Calgary hosts the Winter Olympics. Audrey Pham represents Canada in the ultimate glam sport of Ski Ballet. Unfortunately for Audrey, the Athletes’ Village was not built large enough to accommodate everyone, and she is billeted with Birchwoman; the notorious Wicked Witch of West Kensington. Can Audrey master her pirouettes on the slopes, while navigating Birchwoman’s biting sense of humour and hoarder’s paradise of a curio shop on her once-in-a-lifetime quest for the Gold?
