“Honestly it’s a bit like Janis has walked into the room and Mary Bridget Davies is channeling that amazing voice and talent!” - New England Blues Review Mary Bridget Davies, Tony Award nominee for her role as Janis Joplin on Broadway’s A Night With Janis Joplin, returns to Feinstein’s/54 Below with an explosive acoustic show featuring selections from Janis Joplin, Alanis Morisette and songs from her new album Stay With Me: The Reimagined Songs of Jerry Ragovoy (legendary songwriter of “Piece Of My Heart”, “Cry Baby”, “Time is on My Side”). With special surprise guests and iconic Janis songs, selections will also include acoustic versions of classic Alanis tunes such as “Uninvited"" and “Head Over Feet”! The night will feature the amazing piano stylings of Mark Berman (Sex and The City, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), not to mention the debut of “Freedom Of My Mind”, the title song from the upcoming play with music in which Mary Bridget stars as Virginia Woolf in A Room Of One’s Own!
