First Look Buffalo Theatre Company presents its 2024 New Play Reading Festival, featuring nine rehearsed staged readings from both local and national playwrights. Among the highlighted works is LONG LAYOVER by Michelle Tyrene Johnson, directed by Davida Evette Tolbert, which premieres on December 6. The festival runs from December 6 to December 15 and includes a talkback after each reading, allowing the audience to engage with the creative process. The festival serves as an essential platform for discovering future season plays and showcases the talents of local directors and actors.
